Sandy Hagist, owner of Exclaymations!! Pottery and Gallery in Mt. Horeb, WI, displays an array of reasonably priced wheel-thrown pottery in her early 1900's home. She fulfilled a 20-year dream when she opened this gallery on December 1, 2001. Mt. Horeb native, Mikel Kelley displays his funkier, more sculptural pieces in the gallery as well.
Sandy moved to Mt. Horeb from Bayfield, WI where she had worked at Eckels Pottery for 15 years. A native of Mt. Pleasant, IA, she earned her Bachelors degree in Art at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA and worked as an apprentice in northern Iowa at a pottery studio.
All of Sandy's pottery is dishwasher, microwave and oven safe and can be fully functional as well as displayed as a piece of art.
